Aunt Winnie

Today was a happy day. My Aunt Winnie, who happens to be the backbone to my being, came and had lunch with me. She had an eye appointment and before it, came to the hospital and we ate in the cafeteria. I was so excited to see her, I felt like no time has passed, although it has. We talked, looked at pictures she brought, and just enjoyed a very special hour and a half together. I haven't spent a lot of time at "home" over the years but feel in my heart our relationship will continue, just as it has for as long as I can remember and that is very close!
