Acceptance / Tolerance

I learned today that some people are just NOT comfortable with others.  I can understand this as I have dealt with it all my life.  I stepped out on a limb, thinking I could gain a friendship but I was wrong.  It is a bit sad and in this day and age, you would "think" people would be subject to the diverse world we live in.  I guess I was wrong and I have to say, surprised.  I don't think this helped my self esteem but the show must go on.
