It is 4:35 a.m. the day after my surgery for the inguinal hernia I developed. I was in the hospital for 8 hours ... 8 very LONG hours I might add. The surgery was a success and I am now feeling the pain from the procedure. My mom and dad came up to be with me which really made my day, my mom being in the room with me all day (except for surgery of course) was wonderful. Now, the recovery phase, I am very sore, couldn't sleep, hence the reason I am up, hobbling around. I am glad it is over, I was dreading it terribly! This horrible photo was post op and I was really agitated, but ok ...!
