Good conversation

I took the time to stop what I was doing and go visit with my director.  It was nice, informative and something I am glad I did.  I feel bits of understanding may have been voiced, which I feel were way past due.  I then had a meeting with my mentor, she is really nice as well and is a perfect fit for me.  I spent the day thinking about what I want to achieve.  It really was nice to hear my director tell me that she would "not want me to go" if I found a position of interest outside the admission/patient access department.  I think hearing this made me realize my importance.  With a day full of information, conversation and sharing, I am going to do it more often, it is necessary!
